Please take a look around! |
With November full of so many days off we are encouraging students to persevere through!
Here are a few PSAs: For HOSA we have community service projects with FUEL and flower bed cleanout. We also have HOSA regional testing on November 15 during 6th and 7th. Don't forget we are still promoting our safe driving campaign through BITZ - "One text or call can wreck it all."

We are excited to announce a partnership with Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, Allstate Foundation, and Ford Driving Skills for Life to promote a distraction free campus at Rossview High. Please consider joining us throughout the year, and encourage others to "Be In the Zone - Turn Off Your Phone."
Today is our first official HOSA meeting of the school year! Please make arrangements to attend. If you are unable to stay please see Iva Rubio at your earliest convenience to be informed of what you missed. We are very interested in active members this year so please make arrangements to be at ALL of our meetings!
The upper level classes of Health Science will be presented with the opportunity to earn dual credit through a local community college in Medical Terminology. Students will be exposed to prefixes, suffixes, root words, etc. to be prepared to sit for the clept test in Medical terminology in the Spring. The goal is for all Seniors to sit for the test and pass with 100%. The Juniors will have the information and work through the material, however sitting for the test will be optional; their senior year it will be highly encouraged. We look forward to continuously offering exposure to as many sources of growth as possible!
WELCOME BACK!! During the first year in the program the students will have the opportunity to sit for the OSHA 10 certification. Rossview received a grant to be able to cover the cost of this certification for all of our students. As a third year student in the program they will sit for the OSHA 30 certification. We anticipate incorporating OSHA 10 starting 2018-19 school year. Starting this year as well, the students will have a chance to either become CPR/AED certified or renew their certification. If you are a student and are interested please let your teacher know so we can enroll you in a class. As a Parent, please encourage your students to take advantage of these opportunities!
